Ben Anderson, Meir Waknine and friends using the names Apropos Auctions, Apropo Auctions, with or without the LLC and other very similar names have been using business networking and social networking sites to steal money from unsuspecting victims of their ebay scam.
"Apropos Auctions, LLC" does not exist and is a fake company allegedly
used by Benjamin Joseph Anderson to sell non-existent merchandise on
Ebay for the purpose of defrauding the buyers. He is under federal
investigation by the U.S. Postal Inspector and the United States
attorney in San Diego.
The following is all of the information you will need to verify this,
including links to the search warrant and the application for the
search warrant and contact info for the lead investigator and the
Asst. U.S. Attorney. Please take this site down so that Anderson and
his cohorts cannot use it to defraud others. Following is information,
as of April 8, 2008, relating to the results of the search warrant
executed at Benjamin Anderson's residence at 315 Westbourne Street, La
Jolla, CA 92037 and of his red Ford Mustang Saleen, CA tag no.
6BUV942.
The following two documents are now public and no longer under seal.
Since "CEO Ben" and his "executive director" Meir Waknine never seem
to answer their "live support" number at (714) 717-0587, maybe other
arrangements could be made to communicate with them face-to-face. Some
of the postings apparently made by or on behalf of Anderson, Waknine
and "AproposAuctions, LLC" on RipOffReport.com and other consumer
protection websites since the execution of the search warrant have
stated that much of what has been posted about the search warrant is
just "nonsense."
Read the two documents and judge for yourself. See the APPLICATION AND

these public documents will expire in approximately 60 days. Please
feel free to copy these documents and this information at your
discretion. I'm sure Bennie wants to help all his '"customers" get
their merchandise or refunds as soon as possible!)

Three law firms have been selected to contend for the privilege of suing eBay, the postal drops, and everyone involved including all the friends and relatives of our little buddies so they know not to help and defend criminals again.
We intend to prosecute civilly while the criminal case continues so that we can totally devastate these hoodlums financially, and Ben's mommy, and Meir's daddy as well. Let them explain why they defended the criminal actions of their sick offspring in court. We will attach everything they own for retribution.
And give the money to the victims and military families hurt by these imbeciles.
Be advised. If you are a friend of Ben's and decided to "help" him in the past harass and threaten people you will be discovered during depositions and we will take you to court.
Take a look around people. The reason a US attorney is assigned, that a Magistrate found probable cause, that a raid was conducted and hundreds of complaints already logged is this is for real. Letters are coming back now to the authorities from every person who sent money and never received merchandise. The number of charges against them may set new records for mail fraud alone.
The next steps are not going to be pretty for the people who think they won't be discovered. The government already has Ben's computers and all his email, access and information as to who else was involved. They also have IP traces and other materials that we have supplied from our civil case. We will soon have access to all that data as well once the criminal prosecution starts.
IF YOU would like to surrender yourself now we suggest going to the US attorney and Postal Inspector mentioned throughout these sites and tell them about your involvement and turning state's evidence now before it is too late. Report the details of Ben's operation and they may go easier on you.
If you cooperate with the government we will take a better view of you in the civil matter.
For those of you who thought you could *** and otherwise play with other people, your time is up. We know who some of you are already. Filings are being prepared.
Should we prevail in court and we believe we would, we would seek sanctions including no future use of computers, the internet, email or any facet of the technology that allowed you to help Ben commit crimes.
Think about that for a moment. Let it sink in. If we are successful we will cut you out of the future and those little skills you have will be worthless forever.

I normally do not respond to loose cannons such as RICHARD RIVETTE or DAN SHULTZ. However, the level to which these CYBER TERRORISTS have sunk is beyond the pale. It is understandable to be frustrated and voice complaints if you are not happy with your order. HOWEVER, the behavior that has been manifest by these two HARRASSERS is just sick.
Before we delve into this further, I would like to state that RICHARD RIVETTE is a deadbeat ebay bidder. He never paid for the item he won from us and we had to subsequently sell to another customer. This was back in August 2007. The reason he is stalking us would cause most people to question his mental well being at this point.
The other CYBER STALKER’s name is DAN SCHULTZ. He won one of our vintage magazines. He read some harassing messages that RICHARD RIVETTE posted online back in August before his magazine arrived and then accused us of trying to rip him off.
When the magazine arrived, he was never forthcoming about that. Several refunds were attempted in addition to the delivery. We have tracking numbers and pictures of the certified parcel he refused. We are packed with evidence against this guy.
It appears that RICHARD RIVETTE & DAN SCHULTZ manifest a very narcissistical attitude. Instead of making a complaint and moving on, they have harassed my family, friends, government officials, & military families with bogus threats and allegations.
I can take a lot and will never personally allow these two to upset me. However, I am speaking up today because of the sick things they are now doing. I recently saw Daniel Schultz on TV spreading a vicious lie with no care for whom he affected. He stated live and in person (so he can never deny it later) that I told him I was Colby Farnan (a dead and courageous war veteran). I never once told Dan Schultz that my name was Colby Farnan in any email correspondence I sent to him. Nor, have I ever claimed the identity of any military personnel. I have a record of all emails sent to Daniel Schultz. He was invoiced properly to send payment to our business and I never told him I was the brave soldier Colby Farnan. Nor, did I on any occasion ask him to make any payments to Colby Farnan, PERIOD!
The fact that DAN SCHULTZ & RICHARD RIVETTE would make these false accusations to help with their harassment is just sick. These families have gone through ENOUGH with the loss of their loved ones. DAN SCHULTZ & RICHARD RIVETTE’s total disregard for the feelings of these families is just deplorable. Instead of letting these families mourn in peace, they make bogus claims that someone is defrauding people online. Not only do they make these defamatory complaints, but they then take it
even farther and lie and say that the “alleged fraud†took place because someone stole their dead relatives identity. Thus, just reopening a very sore wound for no reason at all.
Why would these men do this? Obviously, their 9 months of harassment wasn’t going anywhere because there was no fraud. So, since getting their way was more important than the feelings of our brave soldiers’ and their families’ feelings, they proceeded to spread lies about identity theft of dead soldiers with blatant disregard for those they have the hootzba to claim they care about and defend! Shame on you DAN SCHULTZ & RICHARD RIVETTE.
We have stacks of evidence against these men and I cannot go into everything due to certain legal restricts at the moment. However, the real harassers of myself, my business, my family, my friends, my customers, and these brave soldiers is from RICHARD RIVETTE & DAN SCHULTZ.
My family was harassed and we have kept records of all the calls, voicemails, and messages left on answering machines of numerous people. We have copies of emails from customers who were told false and libelous things about our company from these two stalkers. My customers were very upset by the intrusion and are cooperating with us.
You two may also want to stop posting lies on the internet about my friends turning on me. It looks especially stupid when you make posts SUPPOSEDLY penned by them at the exact same time they are having lunch with me! If you think harassing my friends online will get them to give in to you, you are gravely mistaken. They know me and they know a nut (or in your case nuts) when they see them. Everyone who is receiving these harassments are reporting your activity to the proper authorities along with the state bar associations which DAN SCHULTZ is a member of.
Granted, RICHARD RIVETTE does most of the postings for these two (according to our sources). However, DAN SCHULTZ is just as involved. According to our PI, his involvement in this matter is very deep and a later investigation into other associations involved will take place at the end of this ordeal.
Due to certain legal restrictions, I’m not going to lay out my entire case here. I shouldn’t have to. I’m innocent and it is up to the other side to prove I’m not. However, for every 1 disgruntled customer, I have documented proof of about 100 happy customers. Our recent self audit has been wonderful. We have had hoards of satisfied customers (we add about 50 new happy people every day) line up behind us and will be ready to make statements for us. They have even bought more magazines to help support us!
DAN SCHULTZ & RICHARD RIVETTE sound like a broken record saying over and over again that my company "defrauded" people out of 250,000 dollars. Even claiming there are 23,000 victims. Umm ..where are these people? They never post here.
The dirty little secret folks is that this is all just a figment of these two’s imagination and a sick and malicious vendetta.
Have we had disgruntled customers in the past? Sure, every business does. You can open up the phone book and any business with a high volume like us will have some upset people. Even Geico will admit in their commercials that about 3% of their customers are upset. They brag about having a 97% customer approval rating.
Let’s either see some of these people come forward and post their complaints or let’s turn the page folks. I’m sure that you guys have better things to do with your lives then spending all your free time harassing me, my friends, family, soldiers, families and anyone else who doesn’t make you happy.
Honestly, I can take your harassment. I’ve ignored you for 9 months. I’m now speaking up for the soldiers families who you have denigrated. I have work to get back to so I will sign off now. I just want to thank everyone for listening and also say God bless our troops. Many people in my family are in the military and let me tell you that this country is great because of you guys.

You may want to contact Dagny Rivette. She was unaware of her husband’s online stalking for awhile and seemed disgusted by it in one correspondence. Richard’s father in Florida has informed us that Richard is no longer welcome in their family. He has been nothing but a problem in their family and they no longer associate with him. He expressed his deepest apology on the phone last fall for his son’s actions.
One further note: I also noticed that Jeanine Raab and Ellen Stein were noted as being upset with their orders. We have all emails on file and tracking numbers for these orders.
The same ads that were on ebay for sale under lindsen39 are now under the name: "weserveyou" on ioffer.com. The same vintage ads this guy has on ebay. He was lindsen39 on ebay and is now weserveyou on ioffer.com. With zero sales, and zero ratings he inspires a lot of confidence were shure. So Meir Waknine who is lindsen39 may also be weserveyou.

Today, authorities may serve warrants to investigate a business called The Massage Co, advertised as a nail, skin and body services salon, located at 12265 Ventura Blvd. in Studio City. The owner, Angela Anderson, may have participated in the Apropos Auctions scam by allowing her phone to be used to make harassing calls.
The phone carriers have apparently been cooperating by providing detailed records of all the phone activity into and from the business.
A PacBell spokesperson could not comment on the latest search warrant, but did state that "the company cooperates fully with any local, state or Federal investigation as directed by the courts."

Meir is quite unbelieveable as he leaves threatening phone messages for his victims. He must feel the noose tightening around his scrawny soon-to-be-incarcerated neck. Ben likes to threaten lawsuits when he has not got two nickels to rub together. More NEWS and VIDEO are coming soon about these two hoodlums. They threaten anyone who posts anything about them. You have to wonder why? They don't like everyone knowing exactly who they are... Hey Meir! The entire Special Ops forces and veterans groups have your photos and background information now. Booo! You thought you were intimidating? Wait until one of these guys sneaks up on you on a deserted road late one night and surprises you with a stern talk about respecting their deceased comrades!
